Deal or No Deal 200th Episodes

This prop cake was used for the 200th episode of Deal Or No Deal.  Although the cake was real, it was not used to feed people.  It was a giant prop  for the host to jump into at the end of the show!  Instead of a hard board underneath, we had to use rubber mats to break the fall.  The cake was iced in buttercream and we created patterns to make the fondant letters for the logo. We used measuring tools and string to mark lines on the cake, so the logo would be perfectly straight. We worked on the project at the actual studio where the show is filmed so that it would be easier to transport the cake to the set.
